About Alison

Alison Woolf B.Ed (Hons), MA Play Therapy, BAPT,
BAPT registered clinical supervisor

Alison Alison has spent the last five years working as a play therapist in an education setting. She has also worked as a trainer and therapist for post adoption services. Within schools Alison has worked with families and run training for teachers and teaching assistants.

As a teacher Alison worked for fifteen years in primary and secondary schools, both mainstream and special. She has also worked as a tutor at Liverpool Hope College, and contributed as a guest tutor to Education courses at Chester and Edge Hill Universities.

Alison has completed the Basic, Intensive and Advanced Filial Therapy Training Programmes with Dr Rise VanFleet at York University. She has worked with this model in a variety of settings, and adapts the programme to meet the needs of the clients.

Alison has a particular interest in collaberative work with adult and child through the medium of play.
